just bought hercules dj 4 set.
share your expiriences with hercules dj 4 set.
(i work in combination with virtual dj 5.07)
my new hercules dj 4set works on that. (2 decks)
i don,t know how the pre monitor (headphones) works.
i know my monitor is on channel 1-2 & premonitor on channel 3-4
but when i plug in my headphones.... i hear nothing.
now i have split channels to monitor.(virtual dj config)
(right : monitor & left : master)
you cant hear it on the recording, only when recording it while mixing.
i think it has something to do with my audio config. in virtual dj.
do you have any advice 4 me with settings i should try ?
thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,
Why don't you use VirtualDJ 7 LE DJ4Set or VirtualDJ 7 Pro?
where did u get your dj 4 set to buy i cant find any available
Hello,
Why don't you use VirtualDJ 7 LE DJ4Set or VirtualDJ 7 Pro?
Because with the LE version from VDJ you can't record your set.
I'm used to the 5.07 version & i like the "Old-school" internal mixer skin.
But i got the PPL working for a while with the ASIO driver on my PC.
I got some little sounddrops after a while,so i changed it back to WDM (internal soundcard)
Think it had something to do with configuation of ASIO.
where did u get your dj 4 set to buy i cant find any available
Here is the adress where i got it from in The Netherlands.

D.J. Word: in the U.S., I can personally confirm the DJ4Set is in stock at various Sam Ash Music stores for $249.
djneonglass: the LE version of Virtual DJ bundled with the DJ4Set supports recording your sets, and it's very easy to do, as there is a record button just below where you would activate or deactivate the scratch functions. You will get a .wav file in the root directory of Virtual D.J. called "recording"

Thanx D.J. Word for your advice.
I have the installation disk with VDJ 7 LE 4Set (Virtual Dj DJC Edition),not installed yet, because i'm used to the 5.07 version (all the controls are working on that version).
I thought that these LE & DJC -versions are very limited ? So with these versions you can record in Wave & Mp3,or just Wave ?
I have payed the same price in Euro's,included V.a.t & delivery @ home.
Thanks Steve Sharp ran to the store and pick one up just now, have not open it as yet as i'm still trying to make up my mind if i should keep my rmx or switch to the dj 4 set.
