hi there. on monday i`m going to buy the rmx 2 console.
my question is does it work with the sample decks of traktor(now remix decks in version 2.6,) or i need an older version?
i downloaded a mapping: http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=532 which is made by djphatso and in the pdf instructions file it is written that when i choose the sample mode the 8 pads would trigger the sample decks. so which version of traktor do i have to use in order for this to work properly, because i am very very confused. i read on a lot of places that ni now have locked the mappings to the remix deck, so i`m thinking that i`ll need a lower version of traktor not 2.6.
anyway...tell me is this mapping from djphatso is working properly to control the samples...
by the way just today i got my hands on the rmx 2 console in the store - i was really really surprised by the built quality - everything is tight as a drum...solid build...metal...good movement of the knobs...and the pads...the pads are much better than the ones on the mixtrack pro 2...these are real pads...not like the numarks one - just a button with rubber over it...
my first to do on monday morning is buing the rmx2...
Simply head over to the Support site where you'll find a MIDI mapping for the Rmx2, along with a document explaining how to configure the audio section and mapping definition:

Every software , although similar, each have their own particular way of working which may or may not suite your needs. Your own taste will deceide if it is better.
