rmx 6+6 buttons configurator for virtual dj (pc)

Hi, I just posted a reply on VDJ website the following;^]

You need to use "effect_activate" and enter the exact name of the plugin in the value box, unfortunatly the RMX button config. tool will not let you do this for some reason. I do have a workaround though, use the button config. tool and select "nothing" from the drop down list for each button you want to change and click save after each one. Next, within VDJ, go to config. > remote control > general midi, make sure it's activated, right click and choose "config". You'll see the MIDI config page now and click "add", press the button you want to change on the RMX (you'll see it's number appear in the top of the config screen) and then from the left panel choose "effects" and then "effect_activate" in the next panel. Finaly, in the bottom choose which deck you want it to work on and enter the exact name of the plugin you wish to activate in the "value" box and click ok. Repeat the process from the "midi config" for each button. This should do the job;^]

Hey! i downloaded the 6 button Rmx Configuator, and i got a question! Can anyone tell me how to choose the backspin and brake affect? i cant seem to find them on the effect list it gives! (i wanna replace the pitch bends with those 2 effects) Thanks in advance!

try using the new virtual dj HES config. The skins does not reflect the rmx but offers more fluidity with the effects.

Hey I am on a MAC and most of the downloads are geared for windows. The console works just great with the LE version but the pro 5.2 has major flows. I tried to get help from Hercules and VDJ and they basically are each telling me to contact the other (some help desk). What I am most frustrated with is the fact that 5.2 removed the pitch.B- &+. It was a feature that I greatly enjoyed. I am familiar with general midi config, but I have been unable to find the P.bend-&+ option from any category . Can you help?

Hey Thanks for the reply. Actually greatly appreciated. Not to sound too dense but I loose you when I reach The "value"box ? I pressed key 2 then  selected the effect_activate, highlighted it and typed in p.bend- for deck 1 and entered it then went on with key 5 on deck 1 and repeated that for deck 2.Yet the keys are still not responding to that command. Am I doing this correctly or is the value box something else?
