for some reason i had a problem with a usb port and now this is fixed, windows 7 is not recognising the rmx console. i have tried resetting the firmware about four times, removing all rmx drivers including registry entries, ive also tried resetting the firmware in a different computer (vista).
i have concluded that this this is not a firmware problem as the console still functions in mac osx flawlessly. also the rmx console will operated in windows as a midi controller for vdj but not as a sound card for windows 7. every time the installation procedure says its complete windows notification pops up and says " device driver was not successfully installed." there is also a yellow (!) mark next to hercules dj console in device manager.
any ideas guys?

if it works on a mac, the firmware in the rmx is working.
are you sure you have installed your rmx in an administrator account of windows 7, with antivirus and firewall disabled?
