i have a rmx controller and just recently started using traktor scratch pro2 v2.6.8. (mac os)
i have managed to get the controller working with traktor after trying different tsis for the controller.
all funtions works well except for the jog wheels when in scratch mode. you can scratch, but as soon as you take you hand off the jog wheel, the track stops and i cannot play it by pressing play on controller or selecting it with the mouse on the screen, i have to close & reopen traktor application to play tracks again.. 🙁
i think there is a mapping issue here..
i like using scratch funtion and also helps with finding and setting cues on the fly.
please help
Obviously, mapping issues are always possible, but you mentionned having tried different TSI files, so what may be happening is that you have still many active at the same time, conflicting with each other.
To be certain that only the desired TSI file is being used, use the LOAD button at the bottom of the setting page.
Let us know if this makes a difference.

do you know of any good mapping software so that i could create my own tsi or edit one to my desired layout?
There was once a mapping software available on OS X, but its not been updated for a while, so it doesn't take into account the changes of the most recent versions of Traktor.
Unfortunately, the only way to create mapping is into Traktor iteself.

Using traktorbible to create my own tsi for my controller and launchpad mini. creating from scratch.
will upload here when i'm happy with it.
Been using the bible myself for a while, and there is still a lot of things I figure out everytime we have to create a new mapping. Stick with it for a while and you are bound to be able to tailor the mapping to your needs.
