dear all,

i bought a new rmx2, when i connect my jb27 microphone with xlr to the microphone input
the output is very loud. the volume knob is turned completely off and then the sound is at it
loudest. the knob however is not affecting the volume, i can turn the knob but it doesnt make
a difference. it looks like it is not working.

is this a setting in vdj 7 or is is the microphone type wrong. or is the knob not working?

thanks

Hello,

In DJConsole Rmx2 control panel, make sure the input 1-2 is set on line, not on microphone.

In VDJ 7 Config > Sound Setup, set the input on "None" or on "Line input", but not on Microphone.

Please confirm in this setting your microphone volume button affects the volume you hear for the microphone.

PS: in case of technical issue, the first step should always be to post your computer configuration either in your profile here (you have a menu MY SPACE > MY PROFILE >DESCRIBE YOUR EQUIPMENT) for it, or in the email, and your configuration should precise:
- Computer brand, model and type : for example Dell Inspiron 15" Touch laptop
- CPU model & type: for example Core i3 1.8 GHz
- RAM : for example 4 GB
- Operating system : for example Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1
- DJConsole Driver version:  for example DJConsole Series package 2013_HDJS_2
- Software type and version: for example VirtualDJ Pro 7.4.1
