i have the rmx2 and an 09 macbook pro with osx 10.9.4 and when i plug the controller in it lights up like it should but is not recognized on my macbook pro i have tried to update firmware but its all greyed out saying hardware not present i have tried everything reinstalled all drivers i tried getting a powered usb port and nothing works. has this happened to anyone??? i dont know what else to do

Hello,
The good is that everything lights up as it should when you plug the controller.
Have you installed the last driver package (5.0.3 package, here)?
