having trouble setting up with external inputs on a hercules rmx with vdj ... either twin cd players or a karaoke player.
i am getting the signal through and playing on either setup, but when it comes to the lower freq ( bass registers ) it is sounding very wooly / distorted. i am wondering if this is a incompatability problem.

First try checking the wires connecting the CD players to the RMX, try also using other devices to test the inputs on the console - devices like Mp3 players, mobile phones, etc.
If you are using Virtual DJ Pro Full check also with Atomix Productions if there are some specific settings you need to have.
On the other hand, if you play your songs straight from the computer and the console do you get the same sound issue or not?
