so... can someone tell me some simple graphic eq program which works with external soundcards, if such a thing exsists of course ? im looking for something to process the sound that is coming out of my mk4 when i mix, because i have these crappy old speakers that have extremely loud high frequencies, and next to no bass, and i got tired of cranking up the bass and killing the highs directly from the console itself. ive tried searching but thanks in advance, if someone could help me, youre really saving my ears here :d

It depends of what you want it for: WDM or ASIO?
If you look for it in ASIO, I don't think it is a good idea as
- it may interfere with the EQ in your DJ mode,
- only VirtualDJ Pro may support it, as only VDJ Pro VST plugins (not Traktor).
Here on KVR you can find a list of EQ VST plugins.
If you look for it in WDM mode, then you should look at equalizer APO: the way to use it described here. It is not ultra simple, but it works.
