tone play problems

hi there i have the inpulse 500 and ive noticed that the tone play will always reset the track back to the start regardless of which pad is pressed, has anyone else found this problem ? the software is running on a windows 10 pro 64bit desktop pc with a ryzen 7 3700x and 16 gig of ram and a rtx 3070 djuced is running from the c drive which is an m.2 ssd i hope this can  be resolved i like what it does just annoying that it has to reset the track before the effect will work thank you peace out colshy.
