i am using a the official hercules rmx tsi file. the problem is that when i have used fx, and i want to do eq:ing again. i turn the balance knob to the right and try to eq the eq buttons only change the amount of effects. so it wont change back to eq:ing mode after using effects.
any advice?
is the problem with software or hardware?
i have updated all the softwares and even reinstalled them.

Please precise
1) the complete release number of Traktor Pro (for example 2.5.0)
2) Which TSI file you use:
- the version for Traktor Pro 2 which requires Traktor Pro 2.12 or higher
or
- the version for Traktor Pro 1 which requires Traktor Pro 1.27 or higher.
This problem is most probabaly related to Traktor not being correctly enumerating the analog controls of the console, which means the Modifier 4 (which dictates how the EQ behave) is locked in one particular mode.
You can confirm this by going to the Controller-Manager. If the state of Modifier 4 stays to either 0 or 1 (instead of switching as it should) while moving the Balance knob, then you know it is locked.
In this case, closing Traktor and unplugging and repluggin the console should correct the issue.
Note the position of the Balance knob when launching Traktor, and you might be able to determine if a specific position is more likely to trigger the problem.
