tried using search first - pitch controller

i tried searching for a solution before posting the question but ive not had any luck.

first the equipment:

hercules 4-mx

laptop - windows 7 - 64 bit, i5 intel, 8 mb of ram

traktor pro 2

i loaded the .tsi date 12/03/2012 from the support site and everything works except the pitch sliders on the controller. is there a setting in traktor i need to change to make them work?? if i use my mouse on the screen they work but on my 4-mx it wont. 

any suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.
