unable to load music

ive installed the hercules dj control instinct and have it connected to my computer, but im unable to load any music! whenever i press the files or folders buttons or the arrows next to them, nothing shows up!

can someone help?

Can you controll the rest if the software with your Instinct?

Any error messages when starting up the software?

Also some OS specs please, name and version of operating system.
