el problema que tengo es con el play de la t7, tiene un retardo debido a la accion mecanica del plato. mi pregunta es si se puede pasar a modo vinilo a cdj en serato.. saludos

Welcome to the forum.
The way to by-pass T7 platter mechanical delay and start a software is to
1- press Cue key,
2- keep Cue key pressed down,
3- press Play,
4- release Cue key.
When you press Cue, the DJ software starts playing the track without waiting for the platter response
You must keep Cue key down, as releaseing the Cue would stop the play action.
Then you press Play, to switch in playback mode, so that when you release the Cue button, the music does not stop.
gracias por responder, mas alla de que es un muy buen emulador de vinilo no deja de ser un controlador, tendria que tener esa funcion por cualquier eventualida con los platos motorizados y mas si son traccion a correa. a días de compra me oscilaba un plato debido a una macha de aceite en la correa. Detalles mecánicos te pueden arruinar una presentación.
OTRA FORMA DE EVITAR ESTE RETARDO
1- mantener precioso Shift
2- presionar el PLAY
DATO : Un usuario de virtual dj comenta que tiene la funcion cdj
De forma constructiva sugiero a los desarrolladores agregar esa función (MODO CDJ) en alguna actualización.

I do not see/feel what you mean as platter oscillation, but you feel an oscillation and the DJ controller is positioned flat on a flat surface, maybe you should re-calibrate the platters, it is a simple process taking less that 1 minute.
a- Quit your DJ software, but keep DJcontrol Inpulse T7 connected to the computer USB port,
b- Switch off DJControl Inpulse T7 with the Power push button on the rear panel,
c- Make sure DJControl Inpulse T7 lays on a flat table, and that the slipmats and vinyl discs are on the platter,
d- Push down the keys "Assist/Prep" and "Back" on deck 2 (right deck),
e- Keep "Assist/Prep" and "Back" keys pushed down on deck 2, and switch on T7 with the Power rear button,
f- Release the "Assist/Prep" and "Back" keys on deck 2,
g- The platters calibration start automatically: both platters turn at variable speeds,
h- Wait until both platters stop turning. Wait until pads 1 to 4 become green on both decks, and the calibration is over.
hola gracias por responder. lo que digo como oscilacion del plato, era una mancha de aceite en la correa seguramente cuando a sido montada, un detalle tecnico.. y si, esa regulacion fue lo primero que realise sin solucionar esa oscilacion. lo solucione secando la corea el plato y la polea en el motor. ahora la t7 anda perfecto, pero ya me quedo esa pregunta de por que no se le agrega esa funcion ya que en virtual dj se puede?

Playing a gradual start or an instant start when pressing on Play key depends on the DJ software, as both behaviors make sense:
- on standard DJ controllers and CD players, instant start is the standard,
- on vinyl turntables, gradual start is the standard.
Serato environment is more vinyl / DVS oriented.
