I have Djuced on my laptop with hercules 500, and never had a problem. But I cannot install it on my PC. I have tried all the suggested fixes, running as administrtor, adding exception to windows security, even turning security off, but still no luck. The program opens, but just hangs and does nothing. Any one else had this problem?
Thanks, I've made a note of your build. I'll look into it tomorrow to see if there are any known sources of error. Just wanted to give you a quick update.
Before I start troubleshooting tomorrow, I have one more quick idea. Did you uninstall the latest Windows update, install the program, and then reinstall the update? I'm not talking about the security update, but the pure Windows 11 version. Simply revert to the previous version of Windows.
Hi,
Not sure of what you call Microsoft Security Shield but if you mean the blue and yellow shield meaning the app requires administrator privilege, as here
![]()
and if you see it on the installer program, then maybe your PC system blocks files coming from DJUCED website.
So you may try:
1) download DJUCED installer on your other laptop, the decent computer,
2) check you can run the installer properly on the laptop, check it has no blue and yellow shield, and if it works, copy the downloaded installer from from the Hard disk of the first computer to a USB key,
3) then use the USB key to copy the file on the second computer (the computer displaying blue and yellow shield), and check if the installer file is still flagged.
Hello again. I recently had issues with some vst plugin crashing my DAW. I tracked it down to the AMD adrenalin driver, which I deleted. This solved the plugin problem. I then tried to open Djuced. Once again it crashed. This time though it did not open and not respond, but just crashed immediately. So different crash behaviour. I tracked this down in the event Viewer. Perhaps you can make sense of it? I'm quite techie, but this is above my pay grade. I hope you can help with this

Step 1— Remove the DJUCED folder completely
Uninstall DJUCED via Settings > Apps.
Go to Documents\DJUCED and delete the entire folder.
Restart Windows.
Reinstall DJUCED from the official download.
Check all files, including the old files in the %appdata% folder, to make sure there is nothing left there.
Also uninstall the folder under C so that there are no traces of the program left.
Once you have deleted everything from the programs under C or wherever you installed it, make sure there is nothing left and restart your computer.
Download the driver for the program again from Hercules and uninstall the old one. Restart the computer and reinstall the driver. During the reinstallation, grant permission in the firewall. Furthermore, right-click as an administrator and set the program to always run as an administrator. I hope the program will no longer have any errors.
It may be that C++ is also missing, but you can easily download it from Microsoft because it may be needed due to the file: MSVCP140.dll. This is included in C++ so that it runs better during the next installation.
Here is a brief description from Microsoft
The error code c000041d stands for an “invalid exception,” which means that a program has triggered a serious error in the runtime module, in this case MSVCP140.dll. This is often caused by the DLL version being incompatible with the program or the installed Windows version, or by the DLL being damaged.
So install C++ from this page:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145 This could fix the error.
