I've been DJing 35 years and consider myself proper old school......
I cut my teeth back in the day when all we had was vinyl turntables and poor quality mixers.
The closest thing I've ever owned to a CDJ is the Numark CDX turntables. I've just got a real fetish for motorised platters and struggle to move on. Lol
I've just ordered a Hercules T7, and can't wait to get to work on it. I was holding off until Algoriddim Djay Pro produced a native mapping for this device. As soon as Algoriddim Djay announced the mapping was released, I placed my order.
I've seen some awesome innovations and ideas come to the scene over the years, DVS, Stems, Contactless faders, Phase, Portablism Turntables, Effects and EQ kills. (Yes....we didn't even have EQ kills and filters back in the day)
My mission is to get manufacturers to produce DJ equipment that address all the needs of the end user. My heart sinks when I hear DJ's saying they have to buy Pioneer because it's the industry standard. PIONEERS WORLD DOMINATION MUST END AND NOW IS THE TIME........
Why do we settle on having to use Rekordbox when far superior software like Algoriddims DJay Pro is available?
We simply need to showcase all the amazing things that the competition do far better than anything Pioneer produce.
I'm hoping that this community gives me the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions for future products and updates from Hercules.
