Hi everyone!
I'm new here. I ordered my inpulse 300 MK2 controller a few days ago. Downloaded the windows driver as I have windows 11. I use a MSI GE75 Raider with Intel CORE i7.
I had no issues with it being connected to to DJUCED but I'm a serato player and prefer to see my history of songs played too, however every time I connect it to my USB it always pops up with Connection Error Hardware cannot connect to Serato DJ Pro even though I am using version 3.3.2. I thought it was possibly the AVX but from what I looked up online it does show that my MSI does support AVX. I have utilized my Vestax Typhoon for years as well as my Pioneer DDJ SX controller so I'm at a standstill here. I have a huge gig coming up and would like to utilize this controller in the event that the space is small.
Thanks!

Hello DJMonstar,
Welcome to the forum.
1) As Serato will use its ASIO drivers, can you make sure the DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 works in Djuced when in Djuced > Settings > Audio, you select DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 ASIO device.
If Djuced works with 300 MK2 in ASIO, it is not a problem of drivers, but if Djuced cannot play sound on 300 MK2 in ASIO, the issue is probably there.

2) DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 comes with Serato DJ Lite, not with Serato DJ Pro, so to use it in Serato DJ Pro, you need to have a Serato DJ Pro upgrade licence and to activate it on your PC (if you have used Vestax Typhoon in Serato DJ Pro, it was the same story).
To check if your issue is related to the licence, you can try in Serato DJ Lite.
https://serato.com/dj/lite/downloads
If it works in Serato DJ Lite, the problem is related to the license activation.
3) In case you have connected the DJ controller to a USB-C port via a USB- adapter, you can try connecting it to a USB A port of the computer.
I do have an active Serato DJ Pro license. I have had no issues with plugging in the vestax after using my pioneer controller. I utilized ALL the USBs possible.
Hello,
1) An Serato DJ Pro hardware license is not a Serato DJ Pro upgrade licence.
If your Serato DJ Pro licence comes from a Serato DJ Pro hardware (as DDJ-SX)
- it works when the Serato DJ Pro hardware is connected,
- it stops working when the Serato DJ Pro hardware is not connected.
2) When one buys or subscribe to a Serato DJ pro (or suite) upgrade licence, Serato DJ Pro works with any Serato DJ Lite or Serato DJ Pro hardware if the licence is activate on this computer in the user account on Serato user account page.
3) As this 1-line post did not answer to the questions
- Can you test DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 ASIO in Djuced?
- Can you test DJControl Inpulse 300 MK2 in Serato DJ Lite?
- Is the DJ controller connected via a USB-C adapter?
