Hey whats up!
I recently installed the Hercules 200 XLR on my machine. Everything worked fine as always. A few days later i noticedΒ that "fast bootup" was enabled in my windows energysettings. So i disabled this. This is basically a setting which never really shuts down your PC and gives you like 1-2 seconds faster bootup-times. Not a good idea to keep this. So i disabled it. But now, everytime i startup my machine there is some weird "Trailer Video" running on my Hercules 200XLR and i cant use it. No buttons work nothing, its like my pc doesnt recognize the Hercules 200 XLR. Note that this is the only thing NOT working on my PC. Everything else loads up fine on start up. Nothing helps. Killing the software and starting it again doesnt help. The only thing thats helps is unplugging the Hercules XLR completely via USB and plug it back in. What the hell is this again? Can any1 relate?
Solved this by myself by switching the USB Port of the Hercules 200 XLR to my most powerful USB Port i have. Works now as intended after shutdown/restart.
Hi !
You can now update to 1.98 to fix this issue.
Now "demo mode" is not triggered by duration anymore.
Thanks for letting us know.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

So this was in fact a software-related issue? I just had a firmware-update, it would be really cool to get some "Patchnotes" after an update to see why/whats changed. Is something like that already exists, im sorry, but i cant find it π
It was a firmware feature that got in conflict with some Windows protocole.
In fact, there is a patch note displayed after each software update in Stream Control. You can also find them here : Stream Control Release Notes
However, there is no patch note for firmware update. This one only fixes this specific bug.
Hope it helps.
