I would like to provide some feedback regarding the Hercules Stream 200 XLR, as there is a feature I believe could be improved for streamers. The device allows users to assign apps to specific channels, such as Chat, Game, or Music. However, it would be incredibly useful for streamers to have the ability to assign a virtual audio channel to the viewer mix.
This would allow users to manage the audio on the interface and then send it individually to the desired program. For instance, if someone wants to include music in their stream but exclude it from the VOD, they can configure it accordingly. However, if the audio channel containing the music also includes the microphone and game sounds, it results in the VOD having no audio at all.
It would be great if each channel, where volume control is available, also had the option to assign a virtual audio channel. This way, users could route audio separately to their streaming program.
