I have recently came across a problem where I believe the drivers of the Stream app are overriding the SteelSeries's Virtual Audio Mixer "Sonar". In the past I used my Stream 100 to control Sonar so that I had physical mixer nobs to adjust on the fly. I can no longer do this now because some how the Stream app is causing two of Sonar's audio channels to be adjusted by the other when both channels have audio outputted through them.
I have already talked with SteelSeries technical support and have done everything on my end to isolate where the problem is coming from. After deleting the Stream app and doing an audio test on those same two Sonar channels it was working as intended. Then after reinstalling the Stream app it broke again.
Hi I have the same Problem at the Moment. What is curios is that it does not belong to all Virtual Audio Channels. I have the Issue with Media, Game and Chat, the Aux Channel does work as intended. Is there any Chance that someone will get into that Issue?
Thanks in Advance.
Hello,
We cannot reproduce this bug.
Adding Game Channel from Sonar to track number 2 of Stream 100, and Chat Channel from Sonar to track number 3 of Stream 100, there is no issue with the control.
Can you please guide us through the exact journey ?
Thank you.
Hi Damien,
thank you for your answer. I try to explain it as far as possible.
The Issue exists if you have Audio playing on two different Channels, eg. Game Sound on Channel Game and Music on Channel Media in Sonar.
Then if you insert those two Channels in Stream Control and Change the Volume of one of those channel, the whole Audio Volume is edited even if the Channel shows that the Audio is still playing. So if i change Game Volume, Media is also changed without visualy Changing in Stream Control or Sonar. If i mute one of the Channels the whole Audio is muted.
The Chat Channel from Sonar is not affected. If I have Audio Running on Game, Chat and Media and I Mute Media or Game, Chat is playing Audio but the other two not.
The Default Windows Audio Interface is set to Sonar Game like default in Sonar.
Thank you in Advance.
Best regards,
Hi Teufelsente,
Thank you for explaining in details. We can reproduce now.
We will investigate.

Hi Damien,
thank you for the reply.
I have found another bug regarding that Topic.
If you turn on the Streaming Mode in Sonar, the changes made on the Stream 100 wont do anything at all.
Thank you for your help.
