Stream Control software keeps closing

Hi,

I have the latest Hercules Stream Control installed and firmware update, and all was working yesterday, but today after a few PC restarts and unplugging and plugging the usb-c of the Stream 100 unit, the software closes every time the device is plugged in. I can't seem to resolve it at all.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue?

Cheers!

Update:

  • I have completely reinstalled the Stream Control software and reinstalling with PC restarts.
  • I have tried different USB ports.
  • I have tried disabling all other software.
  • I have tried unplugging all other USB devices.

Nothing works. The unit seems to be completely bricked.

When opening the Stream Control application, it turns the unit on for a couple of seconds, the software crashes/closes and the unit turns itself off again. I've had nothing but problems with this thing so far and I can't help but think it's very poor software.

What are my options now? The manual is terrible and has no information on how to reset the unit firmware or any sort of hard reset.

Update 2: For anyone else that has this issue, I found another post that stated to: Windows Btn + R, Type %AppData%, navigate to the Hercules Directory, delete the 'Stream Control' folder.

Then completely setup the device again.

I hope further software updates fix this issue.
