dj console mk4 unknown device windows 8.1

hey guys im running a hp probook 470 g1 on windows 8.1 64bit, when i plug in my device it shows as an unknown device, tried using a usb 3.0 powered hub aswell still no luck.

my usb controller is the intel 3.0 usb extensible host controller  - 0100 microsoft 
intel 8 serries / c220 usb ehci 8c26 & 8c2d 

i tried forcing the win7 drivers on this guide http://www.herculesdjmixroom.com/nl/forum/en-hardware/018795/ which leads to this link  http://plugable.com/2012/12/01/windows-8-and-intel-usb-3-0-host-controllers

but when i reach the step where i have to look for an unknown device under other devices, it doesnt show up, it just shows an exclamation mark on my usb extensible host controller

please any suggestions
