hi,

i bought a dj control air and installed drivers and djuced on two windows 7 laptops.  on one laptop it works fine, on the other i keep getting the error message:
input midi device used by another application.

i run djuced as administrator, i removed all other programs like virtualdj etc., i have the latest drivers and latest djuced version.
does anybody have a clue on what else i can do ?

Hello,

Can you please give me the "exact" brand and model of the Laptop where this issue occurs.

We have already seen this issue one time.

I Will transmit it to the DJUCED team.

Thank you !

Also, download and install the following application:

http://midiox.com/zip/midioxse.exe

Once installed, go to the menu OPTIONS > MIDI Devices

Please list here what you have for both MIDI inputs and MIDI Outputs

It's a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge (Model 03192CG) running Windows 7 64 bits.

The info from MIDI-OX:

MIDI Inputs:
1) DJ Control Air

MIDI Outputs:
1) Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth
2) DJ Control Air
3) MIDI Mapper

Well, this is what I expected. No other MIDI drivers beside the DJ AIR, and if you didn't get any errors when you launched MIDI OX, it mean it had no problem enumerating it properly, just like DJUCED should.

We'll need to look into that.
