fx, filter effect non existant on my dj console 4-mx

ok so i need your help, my problem is i cant activate the fx and filter effects on my console, i do have the loops in and out and hot cues on the buttons, but the effects i mentioned are not existant, how can i activate these effect and assign them to any of the buttons and knobs? do i need a remapping? the current mapping is the factory default but like i mentioned above im missing those effects.

im using virtual dj software and i have both the 7 and 8 versions.
also usng a laptop with windows 7 os.

please help me, i would really appreciate it.
