i have a hercules rmx 2 and virtual dj pro. no matter how i change the settings i still am having trouble not hearing the main output in my headphones. it works fine when the controller is not plugged in, but when it is, i am always hearing the main output through my headphones even if that deck is not supposed to be sent to the headphone cue.
First, be sure the audio configuration is set properly:
Next, you have to be aware of the monitor Mix knob (CUE/MIX), right next to the headphone volume.
- When in the CUE position, you will hear the deck for which the CUE SELECT has been activated
- When in the MIX position, you will hear what comes out of Output 1-2, according to the crossfader position.
- If you want to hear a bit of both (when preparing a track), simply put down the middle position.
