i bought a hercules dj 4set (my first dj set / controller) and it works really good but i have some problems with the headphones. when i connect the headphones to the front-side output, and i play a song, i dont hear anything. how could i fix this?

The headphones output in DJing is made for previewing (for hearing the track you select with the push buttons with headphones label located over the volume faders). If you want to hear the mix instead of the preview in the headphones, turn the cue to mix rotary button to the position mix (on top right of the control surface, close to the headphones volume button).
