Hello to everyone . Hope someone from the suppot team is reading this post.
I have verified that, unlike the right deck, when I press Play on the left deck the motor emits a very faint humming noise. I am concerned because the controller is new, and I would not want this noise to cause any damage in the long term.
I have the purchase invoice and a video that clearly demonstrates the issue. The problem occurs only and exclusively when the platter is active, both with and without a vinyl record installed.
After opening a support ticket and then receiving a request for the serial number again (which had already been provided when the ticket was originally submitted), communication appears to have stopped completely.
Furthermore, I have no way of accessing a live chat with a support representative, as the chat icon never appears in the support section of the website. At this point, who should I be dealing with regarding this issue?
I must admit that, so far, the handling of this case does not appear particularly professional, especially considering that the product is brand new and the problem was reported promptly together with all the requested information.
Hi Frank,
Welcome to the forum.
1) If you meet a technical issue, starting a new discussion with a title summing up the technical issue is an efficient way to get the attention of the forum visitors likely to provide guidelines on this specific issue.
I am not sure your technical issue is a high-pitched mechanical noise, as you mention a faint humming noise further details, but in case the noise you hear is high-pitched, please download the 1-page guideline here.
2) I do not know when the support team visits the forum, they also come on the forum, but a forum and a technical support team have different missions:
- the tech support team helps each user thanks to a direct interaction between a technican and a user,
- the forum is an area for a community of users. Users try to help one another, and even if the technical guidelines may look like the help of technical support team, the target of the forum is to provide information for all the forum readers who may read this discussion: I try to solve your technical problem in the short term, but on the long term I want forum users who read this discussion to know there is a solution in case they hear a high-pitched mechanical noise.
