Track loading stutter & Bluetooth LE lag when using DJControl Mix near home office network gear?

I recently picked up the DJControl Mix to practice quick sets and transitions on my iPad, and for such a lightweight, portable controller, the hands-on workflow with the djay app has been an absolute blast. Having dedicated physical jog wheels and tactile crossfaders makes practicing on a tablet feel miles better than tapping on a touchscreen.

However, I’ve run into an annoying wireless hiccup when practicing at my desk and was wondering if anyone here has encountered something similar.

For a bit of context: my creative setup sits in the corner of my home office, which also happens to house our central connectivity and telecom hardware. Because I handle daytime client administration from home, the desk area has our main network routers running alongside an analog telephone adapter that manages our VoIP and legacy <a href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Voice & Fax lines for client paperwork.

Here is the issue: when I connect the DJControl Mix over Bluetooth LE and stream tracks through the djay app from cloud libraries, I occasionally experience brief input stutter on the jog wheels, and loading a new track will sometimes cause a half-second audio buffer hitch in the cue headphones.

At first, I wondered if the controller's split audio cable was faulty, but when I tested the exact same iPad and controller setup in the living room away from my desk, the Bluetooth responsiveness was completely fluid with zero input lag. It feels like the dense cluster of 2.4GHz signals around my desk—between the Wi-Fi radios on our network routers and the nearby office telecom equipment—might be creating radio interference with the controller's Bluetooth LE link, or perhaps the router's local QoS is causing micro-delays on the incoming audio stream during background syncs.

So far, I've tried:

• Shifting the iPad entirely to the 5GHz Wi-Fi band to free up 2.4GHz spectrum.

• Bumping up the audio buffer latency slightly inside the djay settings.

• Powering the DJControl Mix directly from a clean wall adapter rather than a shared multi-port USB hub.

Has anyone else noticed Bluetooth LE latency or track buffering hiccups when operating the DJControl Mix in close proximity to busy network routers and office communication gear? What wireless channel adjustments or audio settings helped you keep the connection stable without having to relocate your setup?
