After a power outage the device will not connect to software. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to help. It's just stuck on the starting splash screen. Please help.

Hi,

Do you have a error message when Stream Control software start ?

I recommend you to:

1 ) unplug your S200

2) Uninstall the S200 Drivers ( add/remove program HSM Series Drivers )

3) Uninstall Stream Control App ( add/remove program Hercules Stream Control )

4) Then after you can manually delete the folder :

C:\Program Files\Hercules Stream Control

C:\Program Files\HSM Series

5) Restart your computer

7) Plug your Stream 200

8) Download latest app on the tech support

https://ts.hercules.com/download/pub/webupdate/STREAMING/STREAMCONTROL/Hercules_Stream_Control_v2.1.3.exe

9) Install this app ( it will reinstall both Drivers and App)

Hello! Thanks for the suggestion but that did not seem to work either. My stream 200 is just cycling through presets almost like a demo mode and still not connecting.

I often have power outages, but since version v2.1.3, from the first loss of power my Stream 200 XLR is stuck in the same state, unusable, even after Olivier's procedure

It’s tragic honestly. Such a great product. I use it every day. I tried it on an older windows 10 laptop and the device works perfect. It’s something with windows 11 it seems.

Can you try:

- Close Stream Control App ( right click on the task bar icon and click exit )

- Unplug your S200

- Press power button on the back of the S200 and plug the USB cable

- You should see a Update windows on the S200

- Restart Stream Control

- It will ask you to force the update of the device, say Yes

I just attempted to try that. The device just says "update in progress please wait" but there is no pop up on the stream control app saying to force update because it does not connect to the app... so it just sits there saying its updating.

Are you sure that the Stream Control App was totally closed before you run it again.
Open the task bar and kill the Stream Control app or rightclick on the small Stream Control Icon in bottom left of the screen .

Then restart the Stream Control App

Yes. I even ended the task in task manager but still nothing. It just won't connect at all to the stream control app.
