hi, have hercules rmx with its virtual dj 5.0 software using xp window. having problem using two sound cards. it works first master sound card but the second sound card which is hercules rmx, the headphone doesnt work. any feedback would be appreciated. thanks
When using this configuration, Virtual DJ uses the main (or Front) output of each cards by default. The problem is that the headphone output of the Rmx is mapped to Output 3/4 , so it is not being used by VDJ. In other configurations (on the same soudncard), it allows you to select which stereo pairs you want to use for main and headphone output.
The easiest solution is obviously to use the Rmx soundcard.
Config / Sound Setup
Sound Card: The sound card you want to output your mixes
Second Card: The sound card you want to use for your headphones
Output channels: Use the option in blue 😉

Look the second card configuration. Try to play any sound with it, or configure VitualDj with your actual second card as main sound card and the actual main as second.
Uninstall VDJ, install again...
