I'm having a problem with my Stream 200 XLR. I just did an update and now it's not working properly. Only the background, the “Next” button, and other elements are displayed, but the volume indicators (volume meter) are no longer visible. I have already tried uninstalling everything, including drivers and configuration, restarting, and even the “trick” of reconnecting while holding down the button, but nothing helps....
Either the settings are not displayed on the device, or when I press the button, “Update in progress” stays on forever and no device is recognized in the software. Since it also did a firmware upgrade in addition to the software update, it seems to me that something was messed up during the upgrade.
Question: Did you also back up the %appdata% folder to a USB stick first and then delete it later, and do the same for the programs?
Start Run
%localappdata%
%appdata%
Use these commands and you will find the folders. Once you have found them, delete everything related to the Hercules software.Uninstall the software and reinstall it.
I am having the exact same issue was this resolved?
@B1crafty Did you follow my instructions and then uninstall the software, saving and deleting the folders, because that's the only way to find the folders that may still contain remnants? To uninstall the software properly, first save the uninstall as described above. I'll do that tomorrow and hope it's just a bug.
Hi all,
Please try to update your device via our firmware updater : Here
Hope it will solve your problem.
@Herkules, the virus scanner is acting up on Win 11 26h1. Something seems to have a virus. Can you check it out?
Until Win 11 26h1 is officially released, so you are using it at your own risk.
The Phat One
DJ Phatso No, 26 h1 is already out. There was no beta version for the update, so Microsoft officially released 26h1 Candy Channel from Windows, and it's just about the Herkhlue update that every virus scanner flags. It

The fourth scanner is still flagging it as malware. What did you do there?
@Yokrizzy What have you tried so far? Could you give me an overview? Please describe exactly what you've attempted so I can follow along. Which version of Windows are you using?
@BAUMI pretty much everything i was told to do. starts from removing stream control and installing it new. entered boot mode and installed the Manuall FW. after downloading, the device made a reboot and remains stuck showing the pro audio controller logo. i checked the device manager and the drivers seem to be installed.
Question: Did you also back up the %appdata% folder to a USB drive first—and later delete it—and do the same for the programs?
Start > Run
%localappdata%
%appdata%
Use these commands to locate the folders. Once you have found them, delete everything related to the Hercules software. Uninstall the software and then reinstall it.
Did you also follow that instruction? Because those two folders have to be removed during uninstallation too, since Windows always leaves behind leftovers?
That’s right—the drivers are installed separately on Windows—but the Hercules driver should be listed under "Programs and Apps"; otherwise, you can uninstall anything labeled "Hercules" via Device Manager. Actually, though, the driver is easy to find among the programs installed on your computer, right alongside things like your browser.
